As I'm building my business, I've talked to thousands of people who are looking to start a business from home. Their reasons vary, in fact, they're all over the board!So what about your own home based business? Where do you start to do the research?

Most when searching click on google ads, or might find a sight like this...

Moms wanting to stay home, Dad's wanting to fire their bosses, Grandma's wanting more time to spend with their grandchildren, Grandpa's who want to build a "wealth-legacy" for their family's futures...the list goes on and on! All want to make money at home.

My discussions with these individuals has led me to the conclusion, that I must uncover ways to help them.

My current business is wonderful!...for some. However, the vast majority are looking for their own niche...

(I guess I failed to mention, my background as an economic developer- that is working with business people to ensure they got where they needed to be, by cutting through governmental red-tape!...why not transfer my knowledge and help individuals reach their goals in the most efficient way?...Makes sense to me!)

So...here's my evolution...and purpose going forward.

I am now in the process of putting together a resource site, as a tool you can use to discover the best opportunity for you.

Criteria for the site will be based on the integrity of the company and the product line offered. Of course, their compensation plan must offer a REAL opportunity. I'm in the process of thoroughly examining a number of prospective companies, and will include a variety of catagories, including many with NO INITIAL FEES.

I've discovered numerous opportunities that require little to no investment to get a business started.

Today, I'm sharing another important piece of my internet marketing transformation, the 3 keys to better lead conversion rates. First, K.I.S.S- Keep it Short & Simple!..
Second, Use a tantalizing headline, and Third, call to action.

Of course, there are others, however, simply implementing these 3 elements, reduced my conversion costs- dramatically.

When I first started marketing my home business on the internet, I thought more was better...

That is, my website was designed to tell the whole story...everything about us, and all we have to offer, including free training and support.

Quite frankly, I just knew the more people understood about the transformational power of our products and every aspect of who we are and how we work, they would be compelled to want to know more about this fantastic business.

Not necessarily so!

1. Keep it Short and Simple!

People are surfing...They don't care to read an epiphany!...Even if it is interesting.

Most may be interested enough in the headline, if it catches their attention.

However, those that contact you do so more out of curiosity, than anything else, so make them curious.

2. Use a Tantalizing Headline

Know your target audience...Are we solving a problem?...

Then Create an Attention-getting headline, one that speaks to your audience.

Is it more time freedom?..lifestyle?...Create an Imaginary picture, one in which they can place themselves...We know if we can imagine it, it is real!...So place your readers in the picture!

3. Call to Action

You've got their attention, they're in the picture, now give them a reason to contact you.

Provide an avenue for them to get more information...have them fill out a simple form, with name, email and phone number.

Provide something of value. How about a free ebook, focusing on something that may be of interest.

When you start marketing your home business on the internet, use some creativity and remember most individuals you are interested in working with are going to be surfing and exploring a number of sites in their search.

To be most effective, your marketing site should offer a reason for them to fill out your contact form.

Remember to maximize your marketing dollar, use the 3 keys to better lead conversion rates. 1. Keep it short and simple, 2. Use a Tantalizing headline and 3. provide a Call to Action.

My First Realization of How To Create Wealth And Become Rich by Using The Law of Attraction And The Power Of The Secret

I've realized I have a tremendous tool, sitting right there beside my bed. Now, I'll share my first realization of how to create wealth and become rich by using the Law of Attraction and the Power of "The Secret."

Recognizing my shortcomings and my frustrations, I've begun to delve into the products we offer..after all we are in the business of assisting others with personal development. How foolish of me to think, I could not benefit! What a concept!

So, with just a bit of trepidation, I open the package...A DVD, CD's, Workbook, and a Journal. Mind you, I grew up with the understanding I could be, do and have anything, and my mind is capable of creating wonderous things. That said, then why is it so difficult to take this particular journey?

Perhaps, I say to myself, I already know who I am, what I want and where I'm going.

Well, if that really is the case...then why am I not having the results I so desperately long for?

Good Question.

So, as I begin my journey, I realize the impact of my success or failure. There are so many expectations of others I must meet. My dad, whose love I never questioned, but who has always been somewhat aloof, 2 older brothers who have always made sure "their little sister" remained in her place, and my mother (my mentor), who shared all her studies with me through the years.

As I listen to the CD's and watch the DVD...I become acutely aware. This is not new to me.

"What we think and what we put into our minds is powerful. We create what we think. Our subconscious mind serves as our "personal genie". What we think and believe on the conscious level, our subconscious accepts, fully, without judgement...and we create it."

Ok. So, I'm reminded!..I begin to relax into my journey now. I sit back, close my eyes and begin to visualize exactly what I expect.

" I am now receiving $100,000 a month. I am riding my new world class cutting horse at the Arizona Winter Circuit. My new horse is young, strong and a dashing buckskin. The wind is in my face, the cow is crowding my horse, but we're faster and stronger...We hold him, he turns away...We Win!..I feel the excitement, smell the dirt and my horses sweat. What a thrill! A joy!"

I hold on to this feeling, knowing by doing so, I capture more than the moment, I am creating it!

Creating it, by attracting it...just as the law of attraction would have me do. I am now even more acutely aware that by using this simple technique I create wealth, become rich and settle into abundance. I am so grateful for the knowledge that's been passed down through the ages, for the Law of Attraction and the power of "The Secret."

From Scam to Success- What's Really Real About This Home-Based Business - The Journal Of A Committed Entrepreneur

This is my First Article, and I intend to journal the trials and tribulations I am facing and working through for success in what I believe to be the best home-based business opportunity available today. So why the title, "From Scam to Success- What's Really Real with this home-based business?"

In late December 2006, while searching the Internet for a way to generate some extra cashflow from home, I found a homebased business that appeared "too good to be real".

In fact, my family members were sure it was a scam, it had to be...They just knew it. So they searched the internet to discover, that sure enough there was "bad" stuff written about the company I was excited and pleased to be newly associated with.

Of course, they couldn't wait to print all the "stuff" they'd so proudly uncovered, through their internet sleuthing and hurriedly emailed their findings to me.

Of course, I read it...then passed it into my disappearing filing system- to permanently remove it from sight.

I'm not unlike many new first-timers in the network marketing arena, I know that. I'm educated and I'm a very successful business owner. I know what it takes to start a business from scratch.

I just didn't know what I was getting into, that is, I didn't have a clue what network marketing was really about.

The truth of the matter, I still don't.

But I am so committed to this company, the products we offer and myself, I know I am about to become one the top income earners in the company.

I love the community of like-minded individuals this company attracts, and I have fallen in love with their energy and the power our products give to me, and everyone else who really delves into our program.

So, here's my story thus far...Joined the business in Late December, 2006, (that was established earlier)...Did exactly as my Advisors suggested and purchased leads right away (hundreds of them). Plugged into all the training calls, (well, maybe not all of them, I missed a few prospecting training calls). Set about my business of marketing and calling prospects back...working the system, using all the tools provided. I even purchased training tapes and CD's from well-known trainers. Diligently, I put people on our business overview calls...not so diligently, I followed up. (Now don't beat me up, I'm just trying to be honest here)...

Knowing that consistency and commitment are key, I was diligent about calling prospects and putting people on calls. This system requires "newbies" to make two training sales, and pass those up to their Advisors, to compensate for the time they spend assisting one to get started in this business. I think that's a good thing. So here's what happened.

I attended one of our Company conferences in March, not yet qualified. The information at this conference was so powerful, I came home knowing I just had to share this great gift with others.

So, I bought the program we market, and sent it to my late husband's brother and his wife. They had suffered some major losses over the last 10 years, losing their oldest brother (my husband), and within 3 years, their oldest son to a tragic car accident. (Unbeknownst, to me at the time, that purchase counted as 1 training sale.)

I continued to work this business...and finally got my very own website to start marketing with. Boy was I excited, I just knew I had the pieces in place finally, to really "blow the cover off the ball."...Well, I wasn't quite right, but I did make my first real sale in April! Now fully qualified, I was just sure I'd be hitting homeruns consistently from now on. I mean, I'm fully qualified "across the board"- I can collect commissions on every product we offer, and I love this company!

So why then, over the past 8 weeks have I made only 1 sale...and that sale, was rescinded within our 3 day refund period. That my friend, is why this article is being written...From Scam to Success - What is really real about this business? What is real are our products, the opportunity, the training and support, and the fact that one must pay their dues to really get the benefits offered here.
